Policies of the Journal
Open Access Policy
The Vertex Journal of Economic Sciences (VJES) is a fully open access journal, providing immediate, worldwide, barrier-free access to the full text of all published articles without charging any fees to readers or authors.
- Readers have unrestricted rights to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles published in VJES.
- This model is based on the principle that freely available research fosters a greater global exchange of knowledge in economics and related disciplines.
- Such accessibility also contributes to increased readership and higher citation rates of authors’ work.
We align with the principles of the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), which develops systems to advance scholarly quality and public dissemination of research by freely distributing software that supports open access publishing.
