About the Journal

The Vertex Journal of Economic Sciences (VJES) is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed (refereed) international journal devoted to promoting rigorous, independent, and critical inquiry in economics and allied disciplines.
Published biannually in January (Winter Edition) and July (Monsoon Edition), the journal provides a dynamic forum for economists, researchers, scholars, and policy analysts to engage with contemporary economic questions through diverse theoretical, empirical, and interdisciplinary lenses.

Scope of the Journal

VJES welcomes original and rigorous contributions across the wide spectrum of economic sciences. While the journal places special emphasis on research employing econometric and quantitative methods, it equally values high-quality qualitative work that offers deep insights into economic phenomena.
Both theoretical and empirical studies are invited, using a range of methodological approaches suited to addressing complex economic issues. Submissions are encouraged in, but not limited to, the following thematic areas:
