Society for Pen and Discourse
The Vertex Journal of Economic Sciences (VJES) is published under the guidance and auspices of the Society for Pen and Discourse (S.P.D.), a non-profit academic society rooted in a deep commitment to intellectual inquiry, interdisciplinary dialogue, and socially meaningful scholarship. Headquartered in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, the Society serves as the nurturing institutional home for this journal and other future academic initiatives envisioned to promote critical reflection and inclusive knowledge-building.
The Society for Pen and Discourse brings together a diverse collective of scholars, educators, and practitioners who are united by a shared aspiration to advance the frontiers of research and education. Through its wide-ranging initiatives—spanning publications, academic forums, community engagement, and educational outreach—SPD seeks to contribute meaningfully to the public good and the scholarly ecosystem alike.
The journal’s values of academic integrity, openness, and public engagement draw inspiration from the Society’s foundational ethos. As such, all publications under the SPD banner remain guided by a deep respect for rigorous scholarship and an inclusive vision of social development.
