Peer Review Process
This journal operates through Open Journal Systems (OJS) , an open-source journal management and publishing platform developed and maintained by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) under the GNU General Public License.
Open Access | Double-Blind Peer-Reviewed Journal
All submissions to this journal undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, ensuring the highest standards of academic integrity and quality. The process adheres to the definition of peer review as “obtaining feedback on individual manuscripts from experts in the relevant field.”
Upon receiving a manuscript, the Editorial Board conducts an initial assessment to verify the submission’s originality, scholarly merit, and alignment with the journal’s scope. At this stage, all author-identifying details are removed to maintain anonymity before forwarding the manuscript for blind review.
Key features of the review process include:
Expert Reviewers: Manuscripts are evaluated by subject-area specialists who are selected based on their expertise and academic credentials.
Evaluation Criteria: Reviewers assess each submission on several academic parameters, including:
Originality and Innovation
Conceptual Clarity and Argumentative Coherence
Methodological Rigor
Use of Secondary Literature
Communicative Effectiveness
Identification of Factual or Citation Errors
Review Reports: Reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations, which may result in one of the following decisions:
Acceptance
Rejection
Revisions Required (minor or major)
If revisions are recommended, the authors will be contacted by the editorial team and given a reasonable time frame to resubmit the revised manuscript. In some cases, multiple rounds of revisions may be requested to meet publication standards.
Final Stage: Once a manuscript is approved for publication, it proceeds to final editing, typesetting, proofreading, and publication by the production team.
Conflict of Interest & Confidentiality: Reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest. All submissions and reviews are handled with strict confidentiality until the publication process is complete.
Editorial Decision Timeline
Decisions are typically communicated to authors within 4 to 6 weeks from the date of submission. Authors who wish to withdraw their manuscript during this period must submit a formal request via email or a signed letter addressed to the Chief Editor. In the case of multiple authors, consent from all co-authors is mandatory before withdrawal.
