A. Yes. VJES is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal. All submissions undergo independent expert evaluation to maintain the highest academic standards.

Q. What types of work does the journal accept?

A. VJES welcomes a broad range of high-quality scholarly contributions, including but not limited to: Empirical and theoretical research papers, Econometric and statistical analyses, Mathematical modeling in economics, Policy analyses and economic impact assessments, Interdisciplinary case studies, Book reviews on recent and relevant economic literature, Extended essays exploring conceptual or applied issues in economics and its allied disciplines. We particularly encourage submissions that combine rigorous quantitative methods with clear policy relevance or theoretical innovation.

Q. Are there any restrictions on the topic or economic subfields?

A. No. We welcome research across all areas of economics and its intersections with political science, sociology, development studies, management, and allied fields.

Q. What are the submission guidelines and word limits?

A.

  • Standard research articles: 3000–4000 words (incl. abstract & references)

  • Extended case studies/reports: up to 5000 words
    Please follow APA style (latest edition) and include:

  • Structured abstract (200–300 words) with:

    • Introduction

    • Aims

    • Methodology

Q. How long does the review process take?

A. Typically, 4–6 weeks from submission to initial editorial decision.

Q. Do you accept simultaneous submissions?

A. No. Manuscripts under review elsewhere will not be considered.

11. How often is VJES published?
A. VJES is a semiannual journal, publishing issues in January and July.

A. No. We only accept original, unpublished work that has not appeared in other journals, websites, or personal blogs.

A. Absolutely! We welcome contributions from scholars around the world.
