A. The Vertex Journal of Economic Sciences (VJES) is an international, peer-reviewed platform promoting rigorous scholarship in economics. The journal fosters critical, independent, and globally relevant economic discourse.
Q. Is the journal peer-reviewed?
A. Yes. VJES is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal. All submissions are evaluated by independent experts to maintain high academic standards.
Q. How often is VJES published?
A. VJES is a biannual journal, with issues released in January (Winter Edition) and July (Monsoon Edition).
Q. Does VJES accept international submissions?
A. Absolutely. Scholars from around the globe are encouraged to contribute. All manuscripts must be submitted in English.
Q. Does VJES encourage interdisciplinary research?
A. Yes. We welcome research bridging economics with sociology, history, policy, development studies, and environmental economics.
Submissions
Q. How can I submit my work to VJES?
A. Two ways:

- Email your manuscript (Word file) to office@vjesjournal.org if you face technical issues with the portal.
Q. What types of work does the journal accept?
A. VJES welcomes:
- Empirical and theoretical research articles
- Econometric and statistical analyses

- Extended essays exploring applied or conceptual economic themes
Q. Are there topic restrictions?
A. No. We accept submissions across all economic subfields and relevant interdisciplinary areas.
Q. What formatting style is required?
A. Submissions must follow the latest APA style. Details are available on our website.
Author Guidelines
Q. What are the submission guidelines and word limits?
A.
- Standard articles: 3000–4000 words (including abstract & references)
- Case studies/reports: Up to 5000 words
- APA style with the following required:
- Structured Abstract (200–300 words: Introduction, Aims, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion)
- Keywords
- ORCID ID (register here)
- Short author bio
Q. Do you accept simultaneous submissions?
A. No. We only consider original, unpublished work not under review elsewhere. If your manuscript is submitted or accepted elsewhere, notify us at office@vjesjournal.org.
Q. Can I submit a revised version after feedback?
A. Yes. If your manuscript receives a “revise and resubmit” decision, submit the revised version along with a response letter by the given deadline.
Q. Can I submit previously published work or blog content?
A. No. We only accept original and unpublished work.
Review & Publication
Q. How long does the review process take?
A. Typically 4–6 weeks from submission to initial decision.
Q. What is the timeline for publication after acceptance?
A. Accepted papers are published in the next scheduled issue. Some may be released online ahead of print.

Q. Is there a submission or publication fee?
A. Yes. Fee details will be emailed to the corresponding author after acceptance.
Q. Are articles assigned DOI numbers?
A. Yes. Each accepted paper is assigned a unique DOI for citation and indexing purposes.
Q. Can I access published articles freely?
A. Yes. VJES is an open-access journal. All content is available freely without subscription or paywalls.
Q. Does VJES provide a certificate of publication?
A. Yes. Authors receive a digital publication certificate after their article is published.

Special Issues
