The Vertex Journal of Economic Sciences (VJES) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal committed to advancing independent, critical, and interdisciplinary inquiry in economics. VJES is proudly published by Pen and Discourse Publications, an initiative of the Society for Pen and Discourse (SPD) a not-for-profit academic platform established to foster intellectual engagement and publishing excellence across disciplines.

VJES provides a vibrant academic space for economists, researchers, and policy analysts to engage with pressing economic questions through innovative and diverse scholarly lenses. The journal is published by annually (winter edition and monsoon edition), with an average review period of approximately two weeks and a total publishing timeline of around 12 weeks from submission to publication.
